For AI assistants

Litjob MCP server for your job search

Connect Litjob to Claude, ChatGPT or another app that supports MCP, and ask it about your job matches, check your CV against a job, or tailor a CV and cover letter without leaving the chat. You approve the connection, and you submit every application yourself.

How do I connect Litjob to an AI assistant?

Add the address above as a custom connector, then sign in to Litjob when asked. It takes about a minute.

  1. Step 1

    Add Litjob as a connector

In your AI app’s settings, add a custom connector (also called an MCP server) with the address https://mcp.getlitjob.com/mcp.

  2. Step 2

    Sign in to Litjob

The app opens a Litjob page. Sign in (or create a free account) and choose Allow. The AI app never sees your Litjob password.

  3. Step 3

    Ask in your own words

“What are my best job matches this week?” or “Tailor my CV for the Paystack data analyst job.” The assistant asks before using credits.

Claude: in Settings, open Connectors and add a custom connector with the Litjob address.

ChatGPT: custom connectors are added from Settings under Apps. Which ChatGPT plans can add them is up to OpenAI.

Claude Code and other developer tools:

claude mcp add --transport http litjob https://mcp.getlitjob.com/mcp

What can the assistant do with Litjob?

Reading is free. Tailoring and drafting answers use the same AI credits as the website, and the assistant is told to ask you first. Results include links back to Litjob, where you can edit and download your documents.

Questions

What is the Litjob MCP server?

It lets AI assistants that support the Model Context Protocol (MCP), such as Claude and ChatGPT, use your Litjob account: see your job matches, check your CV against a job, and tailor a CV and cover letter, all from the chat.

Does Litjob submit applications from the chat?

No. Litjob never submits applications. The assistant can prepare your tailored CV, cover letter and answers; you open the job, check everything and submit it yourself.

Does it cost anything?

Connecting is free, and reading your matches, applications and keyword checks is free. Tailoring and drafting answers use the same AI credits as on getlitjob.com; Litjob Pro includes a monthly allowance.

What can the AI assistant see?

Only your own Litjob data: your profile, CV, job matches and applications. You choose whether it can only read, or also make changes such as tailoring a CV. It can’t see other Litjob users or anything outside Litjob.

How do I disconnect an AI app?

Go to Settings in Litjob and remove it under Connected apps. Its access stops straight away. Changing your Litjob password also disconnects every app.

Need a Litjob account first?

Create one free and add your CV, so the assistant has something to match and tailor. You can also use Litjob in Chrome or on WhatsApp.
